May not be a huge deal but it's only $2.50 and odds are you can solder a phone cord to the 2 connections that carry the phone signal and have a working pcmcia modem for $2.50 (+ shipping, but if your already grabbing something from them...), some solder, and an extra phone line cord lying around.

Well it costs 1/4 the price of the ones on flEaBAY. If your looking for a dirt cheap modem for a notebook and aren't afraid to do a little soldering it's only $2.50.
