IBM 22"

Well, I came upon this LCD on IBM's website. It's for all you rich Anandtech bastards who have money to burn.. This is a hot deal cuz it also comes with a PCI graphics card. $778 a month for 36 months is chump change to some Anandtech users! =P I bet they will sell out quick!

I'll have to wait on this one.. For personal reasons... heh =P
*cough*

Had me going insane there for a second thinking the deal was for 778, not 778 for 36 months. LOL

holy moly!

If you can afford this, IBM should be giving you a break on the price. I'll be buying this soon, but the price IBM is quoting me is lower than $22K.

I think I'll get one.

I'll hang it on a wall and run the aquarium screen saver that comes with Windows XP....

Don't forget to use your Discover card to get 1% back (that's enough for a cheap computer to go with it). :)

Wonder if ebates will give you a few percent back too...

Could you imagine if this was after a $45,000 mail in rebate?
Talk about making sure you got the upc and receipt :p

Uncle Bill = Bill Gates?

He's probably their only customer on this model. :)

Question: why would you get one of these when you get get a 45" liquid plasma screen for around $6k?

Why get this when you can get a good flat 22" CRT monitor for 3% of this price? I got a 21" Trinitron during recent sales and plan to use it while waiting for organic LED displays. They are supposed to be inexpensive and very bright and good looking but it may be a few years before they mature. Sooner I hope. :)

No kidding! A new 42" plasma from any company will run less than this, heck, get 4 for that price. So how much is tax and shipping?

I'm going for ~30 17-inch flat panels instead. I'll line all four walls of my room with them and run the fish screen saver 'till I'm looney.

This deal can be even hotter: I pricematched with staples and used a $4,000 off $20,000 coupon. Final price with tax & shipping only $19,386.43 You can find the coupon at your favorite coupon site.

:D
