Greatest character I've seen in any show in years. Great acting and lines.. he is one funny c0cksvcker!

There hasn't been much discussion about this show here so what are your thoughts? I think its great stuff..hopefully the Swearengen characters sticks around for awhile and not get shot off or something.

Was tonite episode 11 or episode 12? My HBO OnDemand last week still only had up to ep10 (Mr. Woo yellin 'CACKSUCKA!' AND 'SWEEGIN!'), though that episode aired the week before. Did I miss an episode?

BTW I agree, Swearengen/McShane IS the entire Deadwood show...I don't care much for the other chars except maybe Trixie, Calamity Jane and the preacher.

The Woo episode was 2 weeks ago and there was no episode last week. I also like Bullock but I want to see him get crazy on people.

This show is the only reason I keep HBO. At first I thought it was just a miniseries but I finally realized it is a reoccuring show like The Sopranos.

After the finally last night I actually wanted to start applauding. It is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. My wife hates it because of the language but you really have to look past that. I can't wait for the next season.

This is one of the best shows on TV today!!

Swearingen is thebest. Bad, good, compassionate and what else you want to throw in there. Look how he treats the crippled girl (the only one that can mouth off to him) , the Minister, how he really feels about Trixie and so on.

I like how the line between who is "good" and who isnt is blurring. They are all just trying to get along as best they can in their circumstances.

Good acting and characters even if a bit over the top at times. (Calamity although most folks seem to like her)

As for "6 feet under", it has just lost ground since the first year. Ill still watch it but only for laughs and to see Brenda!! So sexy and note I didnt say good looking.! Thats unless something better is on. "The Wire" last year was fantastic.

I thought the looks exchanged between he & Trixie were awesome, the expressions that ran across his face were great, and I could feel how conflicted the charachter was supposed to convey.

Stronger than the Sopranos for me.
