Question i9 10900k stuck at 4.88ghz

just built my dream gaming pc but seems my i9 10900k is at 4.88ghz all times i have not overclocked or altered any setting in bios
specs:
i9 10900k
msi z490 tomahawk
corsair lpx 3600mhz 16gb x2
coolermaster mwe gold 850w
corsair 780t
samsung 970 evo nvme 1TB
deepcool catle ex 360mm( temperature always under 40 under load)

Most likely the motherboard is automatically overclocking all cores to the max single core turbo frequency. Multi core enhancement I think it is called.
I assume you have checked the frequency of individual cores and they are all the same.

while in game max speed is 4.9ghz only is it normal

You could be getting a bit more but it depends on the cooling and settings. I doubt you are getting <40 under load for multithreaded tasks. You might be able to get a ~300Mhz more out of it if the cooler and power delivery is good enough but you will likely never see any difference in gaming.

my cpu temperature is always below 38 under gaming load and cpu usage is only 20% in max ultra settings 1080p
