i7 temp help

Getting some high temps i7 running at 3.25ghz. Low 40's idle and mid 70's prime 95. Are these acceptable temps? I left voltage stock and even had it up to 3.5 stock voltage but ran way too hot. Its a D0. I read somewhere intel says 67 is max high temp? That is absurd this thing is a space heater. What are the acceptable temp ranges for this thing?

Update. I decided it was too warm for my liking so I took off the heatsink, cleaned off old stuff using artic thermal material remover, then prepped it with artic surface purifier, reapplied actic silver 5, then I put heatsink back on. I tightened the crap out of it to my cpu and now my temps have dropped significantly. Im now getting temps 72c max hottest core and idle temps in the mid to high 30's. This is running prime95 running 8 threads. My old high temps were right up next ot 80c. Running a core i7 @3.25 with corsair dominator ram at 1240 mhz is enough for me and very respectable imo.
