Since so many people LOVE to see products and their boxes, I will show pics as we go tonight on this build. First pics coming soon of this build:

1. Antec 1200 Case
2. Antec 850 quatro PSU
3. i7 920 CPU
4. EVGA GTX 280 SSC Edition
5. 6x1gig Corsiar Dominator DDR3 1600mhz
6. Asus P6T Deluxe MB
7. WD Velociraptor 300 gig

All Boxes and Products

Antec 1200 case The case came well packed. I found there was a small amount of screws compared to most. Came with 4 cabling ties and then 3 more already attached on the back. has little rubber stands for the PSU to sit on. Opening the case. Screws and other Gadgets. Rubber Stands.

Antec 850 Quatro. It fits snuggly well in the case, at the bottom of the case.

NOTE: A nice addition is these little rubber air filters that you can have in empty drive bays on the case. nice little plus for the case.

Another thing to note about the case that I did not like is the NON-tool-less entry into the drive bays. Here you can see you have 4 thumb screws for EACH SIDE of the drive bay. So, if you needed to install a new drive you have to open BOTH side panels. thumb screws for drive bay. View from inside the drive bays. A nice thing is the Drive bays are removed in the outward direction for easy-in and easy-out.

The Velociraptor 300 gig is packaged as seen here. Remember that they found the speed for these drives by making them basically laptop drives with lots of heatsinks all the way around them as seen here.

The Asus P6T Deluxe is packaged normally. MB1, MB2.

The i7 920 packaging pic.. A close up.

Sadly the Vigor Monsoon Fan/heatsink has not arrived yet, so we will be putting the stock cooler on for now....~cringes~.

As you can see we are not investing a lot of time into thermal paste application...Thermal Paste. The finger is wrapped in plastic to prevent oils from transferring to the chip..GO BOB GO.
Seems a heat sink is installed just like our old Lg775 chipset, just a larger footprint for the brackets.

For the Corsair DDR3 Dominator 1600 memory, we installed 3 gigs first, in the order here. One, Two, Three. Rumors are that you install 3 gigs first then the next three after OS is installed. We will be installing Vista 64 Home premium.

Whats really interesting is the sequencing of the memory installation. I bet alot of other things take a proper sequence to run right. I"m thinking dual video cards etc. Very nice build! Thanks for sharing

What can you say? The Antec 1200 is the teddy bear of cases.

OP, I'm not sure your post is serving the purpose you think it is. If you're intending it to be geek pr0n, keep in mind that most of us here have seen numerous cases, hard drives, etc. What would be more interesting would be attempts at modding or running a seriously unconventional setup.

If you're intending this to be a build guide or product review there's not much content to the post.

If you just wanted to announce that you're building a new computer, then enjoy! It looks like it'll be a screamer.
