That is not MSRP, but probably the quantity 1000 pricing direct from Intel. Of course there is higher quantity pricing, plus channel rebates to lower cost.

I used my discover card at tiger 5% back, so I netted 238.

I suppose ebates then pay with paypal

(i get 2% with paypal and my paypal credit card)

would have given me 8% off or 230 net.

still all much better then the 299 and 10 off with amazon.
