Say what you want about the Q6600 but if you are running over 3GHz with SSD, Win7 64bit and hi end video it still kicks pretty damn well. With a few exceptions I dont know how much "wow" Im gonna see with a SB upgrade other than benchmark numbers. Slightly smoother game play since everything is alreay maxxed out?
I was definately excited for SB and had every intention to upgrade and still may just for a geek tech "fix" but with what I just said along with a lack of some important SB/1155 features (native 16x PCIe for SLI and native usb3.0) and limitations (no cpu overclocking with access to embedded GPU) its making me wonder if I should just wait.
I'm not sure you meant SB here or IB but these things are what I'm talking about!!!! Once again my theme in my recent posts has been "Now I know what "Mainstream" is and why I may be waiting for "Enthusiast"..

Don't worry, I'll be upgrading to SB... in Q3 2011. Delicious quad channel memory, 40 scrumptious PCI-E lanes, and 6 to 8 extra tasty cores.
