No this forum is great for overclocking advice, but if you don't show any more initiative to help yourself by using the plentiful information around than "wut do i dew lol" you'll probably only get trolled/flamed

Give this guide a try, I used it to overclock my i3 540

some people tend to be asses on this forum, I've asked a few questions and had a slew of unhelpful or just outright rude responses.

If this is your first time OC'ing an 1156 socket chip, they don't have an IOH voltage setting, that's a 1336 socket thing.

No, seriously. This forum is full of hardware enthusiasts, and it is very easy to find good advice on how to overclock your CPU, but bear in mind that the internet is a much bigger resource and you will probably find much more knowledgeable people on the internet than just on these forums, good as they are.

It's not hard to answer this question. This forum, and indeed most forums, strongly suggest that before making a thread you do a search through the forums in case this topic has been covered previously. Overclocking threads abound here. If you read lots of them (and regardless of their quality, you should read lots of them) you will find all that you ever need to know.
