I5 750 overclocking

My concern with temps are, well, temps. Other than that hot mosfet/NB temps (which P55 is largely void of) which can affect long-term stability, I prefer lower CPU/system temps because high temps of those tend to increase the room temperature, which in turn increase my blood pressure. :biggrin:

Bumping in the anticipation of more success stories. Anyone else had a satisfying experience overclocking a 750? Preferably as a 24/7 setup.

I may pass by a MicroCenter later today and am contemplating whether to pick this or a new video card. (4890 in my sig has been taken out for sale)

What is a good 24/7 maximum for stock box cooler? Voltage increase? Temperature increase (delta change) at OC speed vs stock speeds?

Does the Turbo mode need to be disabled to run at this higher 24/7 overclock?

I have my at the speeds in sig. It was completely stable at 4.0 with 1.35V with turbo off with some simple settings but I backed it off to what its at now since that pc is my second htpc in the fam room, I use the 920 for gaming. Great little chip I have to say. Idles in 20s with coolish ambients and loads in mid 40s at these speeds- 10 sec superpi because of turbo-
