i3 530 near-stock voltage overclock, will the stock cooler be enough?

Quick queston : i'm 90% sure i will be buying a i3 530, and overclock it at near-stock voltages (i want to keep power consumption down). I was wondering if for such an overclock, the stock cooler would suffice. If i'm going to need a 50€ cooler to make it faster i might as well just buy a faster i5.

The stock cooler is nothing to behold. Really. You'll want an aftermarket cooler period if you plan on overclocking. You won't have to go nuts though, but just about anything is better than the retail stock cooler.

I haven't done any load testing on mine, but it idles my i3 530 @ 3.01GHz at about 35C.

Actually, I was just about to suggest - if you're case is big enough for a taller cooler (mine is in a slim ATX case, so I'm limited), I was going to suggest that very same HSF.
