I miss the old forum software. The Private Message system flowed easily. I remember having to export the messages and purging them regularly because I was always filling up the quota.

This new PM system is just too much work to use. I have maybe received 3 messages ever since we switched to vB.

Anybody here experience a similar avoidance of PM usage?

I figured I should give it another shot. PM me. Let's talk. About stuff.

Yeah, I think people ignore it. You know that user crazypraveen...the one that says he graduated from Purdue with a low GPA and wanted to do power distribution....well, I have been trying to contact him about a position. I tried 3 months ago, nothing. Then, the recuiter called me last week and asked if that person was still available because they desperately need someone...I tried to PM him again...nothing. Oh well... So, there you have it, Anandtech PM prevents people from getting good opportunities 😉
