Yea, what the hell? Pistol grip shotgun on top of a filing cabinet?

So the pistol grip makes it different how? Do you have any idea what you are talking about or are guns scary?

Dude, chill the fuck out. I was just making an observation, I find it rather odd that a loaded shotgun is on a top of a filing cabinet, that's all.

By the way, I have a militia of firearms ready to go at my house at a drop of a dime, including my Mossberg 500 with a "pistol grip."

Rem 870 > Mossberg 500

:p

FTW! I have an 870.

I got it really cheap, so I could care less. Plus it does its job, it shoots and I haven't had one damn problem with it at all. :p

A buddy of mine has one (500 with both stocks)...it does work just fine.

I was able to find my 870 really cheap too..which is why I bought it. :p

Free police S&W 916 that was my step-father's trunk gun for the win.

Agreed that it is a weird place for a loaded shotgun with a round chambered and not on safe.

Is it just me or does that shotgun look awfully short to be legal? Semi-auto no less, if some joker tried to rob that place someone was planning to bring the pain, assuming they could keep the thing pointed level after the first shot...

How do you get that it's semi?

I don't know of any PDs that have pistol-grip shotguns. Not saying they don't exist...but I haven't seen it.

Look at the video, spent shell casing on the floor - unless a magical hand operated the slide in the video that I missed, it's a semi-auto...

I saw that, but you can't really tell that it's a shell or something else that was knocked off of the cabinet. It looks like a pump.

Firearm common sense 101.

1) Always assume a firearm is loaded and ready to fire.

-edit-
Idiot is lucky somebody didn't get killed. Hope the poor girl doesn't have hearing damage.

Yeah, I think it's a pump, too. It's a double, pistol grip pump shotgun. The object that hits the ground looks too large and moves like it has some weight for it to be a spent shotgun shell.

I assume you're referring to the lady that keeps a loaded shotgun on her filing cabinet. Agree on that point. Both are idiots, I think she would be the king idiot, though.

No, I'm referring to the idiot that pulled the trigger. If people were properly trained to handle guns rather than taught that all guns are bad and evil, there would be no problem leaving a loaded gun on a desk (assuming there are no kids around).

Sadly, this isn't that uncommon an outlook, people just don't f-ing think. I had been cleaning and updating my gun inventory (always keep a list of your firearm make/model/SN in the bank in case of theft/fire/etc..) and had most of them sitting on my counter unloaded. In walks my younger brother (25 years old) and tenant who casually picks up a double-action pistol, points it at a common wall (townhome) and pulls the trigger... CLICK. Didn't phase him one bit, "dude, it wasn't loaded, what's the big deal, I know how to shoot" .. etc...

He broke a perfectly good gun too. It looks like the stock broke when it hit the floor.
My buddy was looking at guns in a pawn shop once, and each time the guy handed him a gun he'd check the chamber before he did anything.
Another guy in the store was watching and asked him why he was doing that, implying he was wasting his time.
The very next gun handed to him was an auto. He operated the slide and to the amazement of the shop owner, a live round came out!
He just looked at the other guy, who did not have much to say after that:D

Especially on April 20th.

Big lol at the date, btw.

Being baked and loaded firearms is a deadly combination.
