Is there a program that blocks P2P programs and causes to computer to lock up when they run? (I am having a pecuilier problem)...

It just dawned on my to run Ad-aware. I havn't run it since last format (~2 months)
 
Not sure if this applies, but I don't use P2P's so I'm not sure.

For BT, you can specify a port range for how data gets transferred, and I think my ISP was either able to block or severely limit how fast I could download through either a specific port number or a port range.

I'd try different port ranges in the app and on the router (if you have one) and see if that works.

Again, I'm not sure if port range even applies to P2P apps.

The diff P2Ps use different ports, so it couldn't be that. Ill give it a try though. But the computer litteraly locks up, so I am thinking spyware...

adaware has been useless to me for months now. Check out the free trial of spysweeper, that program kicks spyware ass.
