I wonder how much that Guitar Hero ad cost

Guitar Hero has made a buttload of money no doubt.

I'd like to know how much Phelps made for that AT&T broadband spot he did with Bill Curtis. He just stood there in his swim suit and didn't say a word. Probably made 250k for that.

National ad for a cell phone company - definitely more than $250K.

Doubt it, 250k for a day or 2 of filming is good money.

yeah, that one ad wouldn't have required more than a few hours of Phelps' time.

Entering the Beijing Games, Phelps was reportedly earning an estimated $5 million annually from corporate endorsements, with deals from companies like AT&T, Visa, PowerBar, Omega and Speedo.

Great, that helps nothing.

If he was making $5M+ before winning eight gold medals, I doubt he was only paid $250K.

I disagree. That's only $14,000 a day. How much was from commercials, appearances, or simply wearing a product we don't know. But we do know that that $5 mil figure doesn't help at all to determine how much one might be paid to start in a Guitar Hero commercial.

& also, that is not the only Phelps AT&T commercial.

At first Guitar Hero had a hard time soliciting artists, now they are lining up to be part of the market.

It's boosted record sales for artists whose 15 mins of fame have gone.

The price tag goes up when he has to wear pink 😛

Who is the blonde girl in the new GH ad? Yes, yes, sorry no pics. When the commercial airs, I'll be sure to capture it.

What the fuck, I didn't get that version of the commercial. She definitely kept her shirt on in the version that I saw.

Same here, but apparently that's the "director's cut". Maybe it's for overseas (uk.youtube.com). Hot!

The reason I edited my post above was that I had posted the "shirt on" version first and then found the alternate one(which I thought was way better 😉 ).
