I've been here a while now, and even though the registered members list keeps on growing, the amount of people online at anyone time is the same as when I joined....

Surely there are only a few thousand active members...

Actually there's somewhere between two and six people. The rest are just the same people pretending to be someone else. Of course the occasional noob shows up from time to time but mostly they just lose interest and leave on their own.
 
Yeah, only a few thousand at most I would figure...but that registered number makes for big advertising dollars I bet 😎

edit: and there's probably quite a few who never register, only browse.
