Kinda off topic but it's hardware related.

So, Intel's reseller website kept prompting me to take their online product 'course' and a short test and I'll be entered into their monthly drawing once for each test I complete.

Fine, I was bored one day so did 3 of them.

I got an email yesterday telling me that my name had been picked and I won an Intel 875 mobo and P4 3.0c processor!

Sweeeeeeet.

My dual AMD 1800+ heads to Ebay shortly!
 
Thats awesome! I think I'm gonna take the survey every week or something and try winning something. That would be awesome if I won it. Not that I'd really notice from a 2.8C and P4P800 Deluxe, but heck, I could say I have a 3.0C! I wonder if they would let me haggle and instead of the money get some more RAM... hmmmm 😉 😛
 
Hehe, I started browsing in an effort to get one of those messages and forget my firewall was blocking popups, heck, I feel like an idiot. Had I not noticed so soon, I'd have been surfing there for 30 minutes waiting for a popup... doh!
 
I'm not getting any popup... maybe I'm reading too much on their website instead of clicking... I'll try opening a bunch of links this time
 
Here is where I found the tests/seminars. Don't know if you have to be an Intel channel partner or not to qualify. Looks like the current drawing is for notebooks.

Edit: Looks like you have to be a reseller to qualify. Oh well, more prizes for me to win. 🙂

 
Well this one survey thing came up from "Foresee" for the Intel site while I clicked on hundreds of links, and all I ended up doing was filling out a survey that didn't ask for my name or e-mail or any contact information...

Oh, and I'm not a channel partner, but I know some people who are probably channel partners and could get me one of those numbers if I asked but its not worth it.

I think I remember a few months ago see popups for a survey on their website, I never took one, but I know they had some. Had I known they give prizes, I'd have taken them...
