say it with me now... kinect: K-I-N-E-C-T

Anyway, yeah the Move has been a pretty big disappointment to me so far. I find it more accurate than the wii and therefore has a lot of potential, but christ it's taking forever to get any games for it.

I bought the Move and I liked it enough to sell my Wii. There is a limited number of titles right now but the kids enjoy the games that are out. My wife and I are actually enjoying TV Superstars. Some of the controls are a bit off but the presentation is very slick. I am definitely looking forward to more Move games down the road. Not a Move or even PSN exclusive title but I have been having a blast playing Lara Croft Guardian of Light co-op with my daughter.

Nah. I've got a 1st gen xbox 360. Those things are prone to the red ring of death and this one is long past warranty. Will be nice to have a newer one even if I hardly play it. Besides its against the rules to sell it.

Nah, I was just teasing, I would never use a console at all except MAYBE a PS3, but even then, that would just be because they have a better UI for netflix vs my Panasonic Bluray player. Unless I could play PC games with a model M keyboard and mouse of my choosing the console would only be usefull for light htpc duties...

I think in the long run the Move will be superior to the Kinect (if it isn't already).

The titles that are compatible with the PS Move look more promising than the ones for the Kinect. It seems that MS is really hyping up the whole motion recognition portion aspect (which... it basically is doing) and coming out with more "family oriented games," like how the wii was (and probably still is). I think that if Sony had access to the Primesense camera (Kinect prototype), they would be able to design better games for it.

woo its naked kinect time!

I read that Kinect has built-in technology to blur out your junk when using the video chat functionality. No idea how it determines where your bits are if you're really tall, short, fat or skinny, but apparently it works.

no, compatibility means nothing, tends to mean they crammed in the control scheme when it is simply doing something to do something, not because it is the best way to do something. once the novelty melts off the move, you are better off just using the original joysticks.
