My guess: The guy made the bid of $101 to get the prices jumping, realized no one else was bidding, so he cancelled the bid, then ended the auction for some unknown reason.

The bid retraction excuse was BS....I'm guessing that bidder was the seller or one of his friends, used to jack up the high bid. When it wasn't going anywhere, he cancelled the whole thing.

Hmmm....thats no fun. Eb@y is bad about sending out the auction updates though. Still, even if they don't send out the cancelation email, you still shouldn't have been able to bid on it. I'd ask the guy to forward the email to you that HE got from eb@y...And then I'd watch to see if he posts another ps2 for sale again...I don't want to be a pessimist, really, but eb@y is full of liars and thieves...

Clearly states the seller is in possession...also I don't understand why the bidder bigpimp has an excuse for cancelling the bid that sounds like it would be the seller's excuse for cancelling the auction?
