...and I was in the passenger seat. My dad was driving and we were making a left turn that immediately crossed some train tracks. We got a green light, but there was a 5 car train moving toward the crossing. My dad was driving my old Mitsubishi and he said, "I can make that!!" So he took off....we went shooting towards the tracks when we both noticed that the train had just triggered the barriers to start coming down. They started coming down and we shot right through them.... The last thing my dad and I heard was the loud quad airhorns on the train going off because the engineer was pissed and, of course, my mother in the backseat....just as loud as the air horns. 😀
 
Your father is an ass for not only risking his own life, but also your life and your mother's. He needs serious psychiatric help.
 
Your dad is an a-hole in this situation for many reasons nice example to set not to mention the risk involved.
