Hi, My name is Barman and I'm a recovering slack-o-holic. Actually, I lie, I really haven't been that lazy this year with school work (compared to previous years) but got damn, senior year the work just piled up.

I've been studying for 7 hours straight. 2 chapters of Western art and Architecture (from Early Roman to Late Byzantinian) and 1 to go.

Autocad Presentation @ 12pm, Production work due @ 2pm, Final @ 6pm.

On the bright side, today is my last day of cramming and chugging coffee (I ran through a package of Strabucks coffee in 48 hours. How many pots is that?) for the quarter.

I know it will be over soon, but I wish the lord would take me now.

Just wait till you get a job for 40+ hrs a week that you hate.

Enjoy yourself now, it only gets worse in the real-world!

Ugh...talk about useless information you'll never need ever again in your life. Unless, of course, you teach that crap.

Actually, it's pretty interesting. This class has grown on me, and kind of given me inspiration to think about getting an Masters in architecture. (although history doesnt have much to do with modern architecture, the sheer magnitude of the buildings we're studying is amazing).

Anyways, to all working guys. I beg to differ. I can't wait to be out of here (I go to RIT, nuff said). I can't wait to be on my own, building my own business. And if that doesn't work out, then I have my BA to fall back on.

What I do in school now is what I love to do, but the fact that I'm paying to do it nullifies any satisfaction I gain from it. The day I get paid to do what I love to do is the day I really start enjoying life.

I feel bad for all of you who don't like your 40 hour work week. If i got anywhere close to 40 hours of time to do what I do I'd be a happy man. I'm kind of a free spirit, and find it very unlikely that I'll be tied down to a desk job for the rest of my life.

and you're planning to be an architect? this amuses me. (I live with one)

good luck, though. :)
