They would at least look up current prices at Crucial.com 🙂

How many times have I seen stuff offered for sale used that costs as much or more than brand new name brand stuff with optimum latency. Often times it's some brand that they probably got a rebate on as well. Oh well, all in the game I guess..

I agree, their lifetime warranty makes them very competitive 🙂
 
What's worse is when some of you people barge in on certain FS threads and start bashing the seller for their prices when they aren't even looking up the correct items.

For instance... I was selling some ECC RAM and some people come in comparing prices to non-ECC RAM. :disgust:

I never thread crap, hence this legitimate OT rant. If this opinion is by some stretch of your imagination as stepping in someone's business, then their business is gouging fellow traders 🙂

What you describe is thread crapping and not allowed on AT FS/FT Forums (thank god). Or else we'd never hear the end of it.

People have the right to set their prices to what they want, and if you don't want to buy it for that price, just move on 🙂

Eventually you'll run into someone willing to sell for a reasonable price, and just hope you get there before the others 😛

exactly, and most people selling these computer "commodities" will give a little blurb saying that they'll accept offers, or at the very least, they should be browsing the other FS/FT threads and making sure their price is competitive enough to sell, otherwise its just a post++...
