11 hour work days and total take of $70 a month. I don't think they could afford safety on their own. That's really messed up the the US companies outsource jobs to other countries knowing full well that these people will literally be killing themselves for a job.

Well at least they don't have environmental and worker safety regulations strangling businesses to death. Helps the profit margins and keeps the shareholders happy, which is what's really important. 😛

they fire the workers and they and their families die due to starvation or disease because they lost their jobs and that small amount of money they made was the only thing keeping them alive. Or they send their wives and teenage/pre-teen daughters into prostitution.
