Eh I ain't clickin that link, but based on the filename, I think you found the right thing. Yaoi refers to homosexual overtones in manga or anime... Yuri is lesbian overtones. It doesn't have to necessarily include full-blown naughtiness, but incredibly suggestive themes technically count too. Although anime with rather suggestive themes but not full-blown sex scenes is usually referred to as ecchi... my favorite example is Eiken. The anime had a yogurt slide (imagine it flying up onto a girl's face) and people got into rather weird positions while going down the slide... yeah, it was just really bad.

The pic's not bad. It looks like it's at a convention or something, with 2 effeminate dudes sort of looking at each other.

He's going clear across town at night on public transportation and going to meet 35 new people, the social club has only one 1 staff member present. For a person with autism all of these things are challenges.

The train part doesn't worry me, he won't get lost as he's been fascinated with the T since he was 2, I do worry about creeps on public transportation though..him being caught being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Have you been going out with him a lot, warning him about the dangers of such places, and so forth?

Well he just went out the door, wearing his good black jeans, new black sweat shirt, decent looking black jacket and one of his favorite skull caps. He's got his phone, a charlie card, change and $25.

Lol,the old people will be having dinner alone tonight :)

It'll be fine Geekbabe.

Whenever I worry about anything I just remind myself that, in general, the other people in the world are mostly good people.

Sounds like a fun event, and at least with clubs like that you all have common threads of interest!

If he was driving, I'd be a little worried. Kids are way more likely to get hurt in cars, be thankful for the train! :)

Well, I'm still not wrong about them all being nerds ;). Just tell him to watch out for subtle clues about what kind of female anime/manga fan they are. Gotta avoid them weird, quirky yaoi-loving girls! *shudder*

I had to look that up. You mean this?

yaoi = boy*boy sexual relationships in manga.

that image was just wierd.

Very cool. I'm glad he had a good time :^)

I don't know too much about autism. What was your concern about him going out by himself?

That's good. Sounds like he had a good time. Does he go out by himself often or is this one of the first times?

I'm surprised you didn't break out your Emma Peel outfit and trail him.

Another page gets turned.
