I went to a gun show today....holy christ

I've never seen that many fat people under one roof - and I've been to a restaurant industry convention!

I wound up buying two guns - a S&W pinned and recessed model 19 and an old model 36 for around $500.

Try finding a home based dealer. I know of a few different ones, generally they charge wholesale+10% and shipping.

Chock full of fat redneck-looking dudes many decked out in camo with rebel flags and automatic weapons abound. There was even the token racist booth replete with conspiratorial looking guy and anti-semitic propaganda. Good times.

Any dealer who gets MSR is out of their goddamn minds - how much were they quoting you?

To give you an idea, I owned a 226 that ran me $420. I could have gotten it around 390 if I waited....but that was just me.

A reasonable used price is 400-500. New, around 600. I sold my bitone 220 with siglites for $700.
