Ok, is it just me do the rest of the younger generation not find his jokes funny at all... I think they are corny and lame as heck.

I mean it sucks that he died and may he rest in peace and all that but I simply did not find his jokes humorous.

Not true -- in my high school (98-01), we used to quote Dangerfield all the time. Mostly, "no respect!", but also some other 1-liners. Like "they used to call me humpy-dumpty cuz first i humped 'em, and then i dumped 'em". Ok, it's all in the delivery, but you get the point.

This is totally off topic, but remember that movie "Ladybugs" that he was in? Well the kid who played the main character in that movie committed suicide a few miles away from where i live (in la). It was in the newspaper, i think last year. anyhoo ...

To each their own, but a lot of it is in the delivery so these jokes might not be funny as text. I'd recommend "Back to School" if you want to see a good Rodney movie. BTW, it was made in 1986 so it's not like we're talking about Laurel & Hardy or anything. ;)

Im thinking if you didnt find him funny, then you probably didnt see very much of his works, he was sometimes offensive to others so he may have found some humor in bout time. remark.

A great comedian

he was in a lot of movies
most people's problem is they see just one or two movies and think they know the guy
he was funny and as a whole had a pretty good run
