Nice to see some headphone enthusiasts here. As for me, I have Sennheiser HD580 with Cardas cable and a meta42 amp. If you want more info on headphones, www.head-fi.org is a great resource.
Yup, in fact the sound even better as time goes on. These SR-80's still sound amazing but where the cord goes into the headphone it's starting to pull out and at the Y connector they're starting to go a little. I've been babying them for years, but I think just general wear and tear is finally starting to take effect. I'm not sure if I want to buy the SR-225's now and keep the SR-80's as a backup pair or wait until the SR-80's finally go and then buy the SR-225's.Originally posted by: fyleow
That's the coolest part about headphones, 4 years later they will still sound good 🙂 Buy that $400 video card today and next week it will be worth $100 less.

man, now u guys are talking out of my realm....i don't think i will ever buy those expensive headphones...but i may use my sennheiser hookup to get stuff.
I am thinking of which noise-cancelling ones to keep, the sennheiser or sony?
Such a tough decision!!!
not trying to steal anyone's thread, but what is a good headphone (cheap - under $100) for the HD600? Right now I am just running it off of the GTXP sound card on my computer.
