I wasted $79 yesterday on an AC guy to come out only to tell me my 15 year old system is working as it should and in good condition for its age. I guess a 10seer just cant keep up with 100 degree temps. House is usually 82-85 inside when i have it set to 78 🙁

The SEER is the efficiency rating. No relation to the effectiveness of the unit.
If the unit is sized properly and in good working order the age won't make a difference. I just serviced my sisters and it was installed in 1986 and runs like a champ.

If the AC guy ran the proper test you got a deal. The test will take time.

Check your filter and have the coils cleaned with a good cleanser. And then check the temp at the return intake and at the first outlet vent it should be ~20 degrees difference.

He told me the only way i would be low is with a leak but he didnt say where. I told him this was a used outside unit I had installed a couple years ago and he said it might be a slow leak over the course of a couple years that will need it be filled every so often. I found where my coils in my attic are, they have never been cleaned in the ten years I have been in this house. I will get up there tomorrow and removed the panel and clean them.
