I was eating lunch when I spotted a man going down a sidewalk with nothing but a fedora to protect him from the rain. He didn't seem too concerned, though, as he rolled downhill in his wheelchair. This was probably as easy as his day would get.
Whatever your problems are, someone else always has it worse. There are various ways to look at the situation. Feel bad about feeling bad because your concerns are not really that bad in the bigger picture is how our parents wanted it, reminding us of starving children wishing they could finish our meals. Guilt is not bad if it actually makes an impact, but doesn't work so well on children that have no concept of the bigger picture.
Do you live your life acknowledging your little problems are in fact little? Do you get envious of people who lack your problems?
