I was hacked in CS:Source!

Ok, I go by the steam name RadeonGuy

Some arsehole on a server named San Diego 24/7 hacked my profile, permantley changed my name to GeForceGuy, started to post messages I didn't write, and planted an old Trojan in my cs:source folder!

For no reason. I am royally pissed of :|

I really don't know what I did to make them do that. They just decided to mess with me. I asked, but no one gave me a reason. BTW, what's your CS name?

I recently bought HL2, I hadn't played CS in like 4 years but its just as I remember it, chock full of cheaters which ruin what would otherwise be the best multiplayer experience to date. Back to UT 2K4 I go . I can't believe how many admins on servers run around hacking just because they can.

I can tell you that idiots that come in our server, and continue to racially slander, and trash the others, will find their config screwed all up. It will drive a total reinstall of your cs source.

Either one, you were acting like an idiot, or two you broke a severe rule to get that done.

I have been playing cs since it was in Beta 3.0 back in 2000 and have been pubbing, cal, cpl, etc. The key is to find a good server to pub in with decent admins and just have a ball. I have heard numerous people say "omfg there are so many h4xors." However, there hasn't been a point in the last five years where I wasn't able to find a server and make it my pubbing home.

Wouldnt it be better to just ban them? I personally know some people that would wreck havock on your life if you attempted to mess with their shite.

Doesn't matter, even if you do and say the worst things, messing up their Harddrive is WRONG. Instead it should just be a ban, and forget about them.

Sir you forgot to add ADMINS as to why it still sucks. They are mostly the ones responsible to making this the the feces of a game that it is today.
