i was doing this and instead of feeling that workout feeling, it really hurt my shoulders.
Does that mean that it's a bad excersize? or am i doing it wrong?

haha, i do that exercise. maybe you are doing too much weights or you are holding the bar at the wrong place.

Drop down in weight, the idiot in the picture is lifting the weight entirely to fast. Keep it slow and drop about 10-15 and see if that helps. 🙂

lol, yeah. go down real slow too.

this a slow excercise...bring it up slow and move it down slow. make sure you start out with a small weight and work your way up... you need some warm up for this excercise.

how exactly did it hurt? not trying to be funny, just trying to figure out what went wrong.

ummmm

kinda like the pain when you strech in an awkward position?? i dont really know how to explain it

hahaha, it's supposed to hurt your shoulders.... It works your delts, upper back, and traps and they are probably sore from it. Working out is SUPPOSED to make you sore, if it doesn't, increase the weight until it does.
