So I was taking this girl home and we stopped outside her house and her mom comes up to the car opens the door and bites my leg.

Sure, she wasn't supposed to be outside, sure, it was after curfew, but nothing can justify her biting me.

So, how would one ensure their ability to sue the individual? My Tommy Boy Jeans have been torn, and I am under great duress at the moment.

Do I need to file a police report and press charges or can I just sue?

Her mom bit you?

Well, her Mom didn't quite bite me, she sicked her dog on me and it bit me. It was one of those Taco Bell Dogs. Should I sue?

you should sue your parents for raising such a dumbass

i think biting someone is considered assault. Have her arrested or bite her back.

I'm 17, she's 15.

We weren't on a date or anything, we just went to a mutual friends house. (I might have snuck her out of the house, and I might have antagonized the mother somehow)

We stopped outside her house, and out of nowhere she bit me with her Taco Bell dog or something.

No discussion or anything, no "I'm about to have you bitten" or "I'm gonna eat your children!" , no warning at all.

If I sue, when do I get my money?
