I decided to go with Micron and what my new machine will turn out to be is this.......................

MIllennia Max PIII 933Mhz
128mb 133 mhz SDRAM 1 Dimm
30 gb ATA 7200 rpm
Adeptec 26910N SCSI PCI card
12/40 DVD
32mb DDR NVida Geforce2 GTS AGP
CL SB Live sound
ACS56 M-W Digital Gamer Speaker System
3Com network card
Win 98SE

Im not totaly sold on the ACS56 speakers... Although I spent the day going to shops and listening to systems I really just want a 3 piece Gaming/music sound system... I like the Boston BA735 We'll see what happens...

Thanks alot

Micron has really really good tech support, and I'd definately recommend them if you don't build your own. 3 years after my old PC was made we still have coverage. Too bad my dad didn't pay the extra $50 to cover the monitor. It died today. Good thing this comp is mine :)

The Tyan board is very good, I had it a while back with a 266 and then an 800, it was very stable and the benchmarks were not that bad, considering it was a 133A

I must support you in getting the ACS56 speakers. When I helped my friend pick out speakers we tried out all the digital ones, including the DTS2500s. He chose the ACS56 after hearing them in my house. When your at the store, it doesn't give the same effect than if you're in a room. The acs56 has bass that will rattle the floor below you (It does for me).

When I was playing diablo2, i heard somebody say something in the game. it sounded so real that I got up out of the chair and looked out my window thinking someone said it outside. Of course most speakers will do that, but the acs56s do it most affordably.

I havn't actually heard the sirroco crossfires or klipsch pro medias but they're supposed to be good. It's gonna be a bit more expensive if you go down that road though.

Im just a little confused here. What do you have the SCSI card for? Or do you intend to add something to it once you get it?

Probably the 12X DVD, unless he forgot to mention some external drive or scanner etc.
