Bartender, if you have people skills and not afraid to give out drinks for free. This bartender I know seriously makes $500 on weekends, just tips. He got fired tho for giving out drink.

Agree. You just can't get in anywhere good around here unless you are a hot chick or connected.
 
you want to make $25 an hour part time? even more if youre talking take home $500. doesnt sound possible to me, unless you become a professional thief/bank robber.

Ebay? A friend of mine goes junkyard hunting for good stuff and then ebays what he finds. He easily makes enough to live comfortably.

My brother did that for a while. He would pick up Turbos, clean them up, and sell them on ebay for 2-3 times what he payed for them at pick-n-pull. He also grabbed inter-coolers that were sold as radiators and put them up.

Not a bad idea. I couldn't even change oil lwet alone pull parts of cars however the concept is there....I am sure I have access to golden nuggets that I do know about.....hmmmm
 
Since you have a college degree and work experience, why don't you just get a full time job and get your money needed for your own business and quit.

30 hrs vs 40 hrs not a whole lot of difference, and if you land a good salary job, you can also benefit from other perks such as medical insurance, bonuses, and even 401k if you even care about that.
 
Get a cosmetology license and do hair at an upscale salon. You should be able to bring in $40k/year working 20 hours.

10/hr is standard for everywhere around here that I've heard of.

Maybe i should have been more clear, there are a lot of ways to do it. but its not going to be possible to just jump into that sort of job. Its not easy work to land, or learn/train for.

whats the law where you are? Im not really informed on this, but its something like once you go over 20 hours they have to give you benefits like medical or something. then it wouldnt be considered part time. of course if you have 30 hours to work, and if anything more then 20 hours is not part time, you can expand your search to full time jobs too and possibly get more opportunities.
