i want to stress my system , how?

i just put together the system in my signature. now i want to stress test it,is there a program that does that for me,,i ran madonion,and my result is 3312,,i'm thinking that is a bit low for this setup?,,,anyways,is there a program or something i can try to get some findings on what it can and cannot do,,,tyia

prime95 has a torture test that you can set to run for x number of hours. It will max out the CPU and however much RAM you specify, iirc

How about this, run Prime95 and 3Dmark in a loop at the same time. That is sure to really stress your system. If it could pull that off for an hour, then I wouldn't worry about stability.

I recommend physical force.

Actually, get Aquanox. That puts on obscene amount of stress on the system.

If you want pure CPU stress, run a combo of Prime95 and CPUBurn 4. For me this produces the highest temps and if Prime95 fails during this you need to turn your system down a hair.

Looping 3DMark does a good job of testing the video cards stability.

I also vote for Prime95. Although, I don't see why you're being so mean to your computer. In the future, our robot slaves will ask for laws that prohibt the use of Prime95.
