I want to sell a system...need advice.

I have a system I want to get rid of because I want to purchase a laptop. But I'm not sure what a fair asking price would be. I know this isn't the for sale forum but I don't want to post this there if I'm NOT selling it just yet. Here's what's inside:

Pentium 4 2.6GHz CPU with retail HSF
Ennermax 350w Whisper PSU
Asus P4T-E Motherboard with most recent BIOS
1 GB of RAM with ECC
Ati Radeon 9700 Pro
Lian Li (PC-60 I believe) black aluminum case with window side panel
Western Digital 7200 RPM 80GB SE HDD
Microsoft Natural Keyboard
Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer USB v3.0
Lite-On CDRW burner (LTR-40125S)
Sound Blaster Live Soundcard

3 CoolerMaster Blue 80mm Neon LED Fans:
Two intake behind filter at the front of the case blowing on the HDD
1 Exaust at the back of the case.

What would be a fair price for this setup?

I'm also looking for a suggestion on the price of a 19in Hitachi 751

Maybe 50% - 75% of what it would be worth new, depending on condition and what the market will bear. Start @ 75% and reduce as you need to if no one bites.

I know it's a hastle but parting it out should get you a better price than trying to sell it as a system. Especially consider selling the monitor separately.

LOL
I was thinking of selling the monitor separate for about $75.00. I'd say that 700 for the system is fair. What do you think, So?

Just curious, do you already have a particular laptop in mind?

For that system, let' see, I'd pay $650-750.

What is your Ram configuration? 2x512mb or 4x256MB? RDRAM is still pretty expensive, so you may want to sell the system in pieces.

The laptop I have right now is an IBM. I love the eraser head mouse. I can't stand touchpads. I checked Dells sight out because I get a 15% discount on all of their products from my employer. But, it doesn't look like any of their laptops have the eraser head mouse. You wouldn't be interested in my system would you Trey?

Stevty - It's RDRAM. 4 x 256MB sticks. ECC

I'd say so, $650 - 725 seems like a decent range, depending on who you sell it to. On Ebay? Closer to the top of that range, b/c the end buyer can't assemble their own system, on AT? The bottom of that end, b/c the buyer isn't getting value from assembly.

Also, are you selling a legit windows key with it? (just answer no if it's a pirate copy) That is worth something there.
