haha, you thought it could actually go as fast as the speedo indicates. bwahaha.
BTW, I hit some "interesting" speeds the other day, driving a brand-new Porsche 911 convertible. When you get on the gas in that thing, with the pipes and motor blasting behind your exposed head... you KNOW. i got my uncle to agree to a "quick spin" when he was drunk, then held him to the promise, and went out with my brother and gf. i won't say how fast, but let's just say it was a fair bit quicker than the tiberon can manage, and it got there just seconds after i opened it up. afterwards, i looked back at my gf in the back "seat," and her hair was this giant explosion. she said her bobby-pins were literally flying off of her head and she felt like her scalp was going to be ripped off. it was a twisty mountain highway but triple digit speeds were obtainable on nearly every straight, even allowing for conservative braking distances and curve speeds. the brakes were unbelievable, stopping us from 70 so fast my skinny brother was literally hanging in the air against his belt going "WHOA!", and my gf reported that her entire seat got hot from the massive heat dissipation.
nice car, but i shouldn't have driven it because now i MUST own one.
