Ok if i put the ram to 166Mhz and up the FSB to 240Mhz ( AMD64 X2 3800+ @t 2.4Ghz ) Does this mean my AGP and PCI bus's will be overclocked and ive seen somewhere that this stress can currupt data and damage hard drives in the long run.
Is the only safe overclocking with Nforce boards that have locked AGP and PCI bus's?
Parts List.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ ( 32c Idle 39c Load )
ASRock socket 939 M/B, 939A8X-M, AGP Micro ATX Motherboard.
Comes with FSB, CPU Valt, AGP Valt, Dimm Valt and HT Speed.
I haven?t found any options for locking the AGP or PCI bus : (````
2GB Team Group DDR 400 CL 2.5 3-4-4-8 ( 2 Sticks of 1gb running in Dual Channel )
Gainward Geforce 6800GT GS ?AGP? @T Ultra speeds 400/1100
Micro ATX Case With 300w M-atx Power supply .. The power supply isn?t even worm to touch? my Previous 200w M-Atx Power supply running a A64 3200+ 754 would burn your fingers it was so hot and later blew up.
1x 250GB Seagate ATA-100 Hard drive
