i want to monitor my temps on the CPU and GPU

I dont have a mobo that allows me to monitor cpu temp, can i put some kind of sensor to monitor temps on my cpu and gpu, something small enuff to go next to the cpu or between the heatsink and cpu. I am not sure wany thoughts???

yes a thermal sensor with a digital reading, as I used in my review, see below. it's cheap and easy to use.
