Communism would rock if it actually worked.

No, no it wouldn't.

The idea is for every one to share equaly making it so every ones quality of life is good. But that doesnt happen the rich take everything creating poverty for the rest.

NOT ALLOWED!!! ILLEGAL!

3 out of the 5 on there aren't communist! Maoism is distinctly different (and ruined China for many years) and Marx espoused a TOTALLY different doctrine (closer to some countries modern capitalist systems) then put in place by Stalin, Castro, and the likes. Funny pic though.

It's actually a t-shirt. Well, give Marx some credit as he did spark many of the ideas (and he is having the most fun)

AKA, everyone owns everyone else. I.E. your life is not your own to do with as you please, but the property of the state. Not my ideal society. Not that our current one is either, but having a government with a vowed philosophy that everyone else owns my life is far from my ideal.

You may not like it but the people who live in poverty would like it more because they would be brought out of it.

So you'd prefer to be the bird in the gilded cage to the one in the twig nest?

Yea id have to agree. But if i was poor i wouldnt.

Even then, they'd be happy for a little while, until they grow accustomed to what they have

I believe Hitler tried this idea, but it crashed and burned. The rest of the world thought gleefully, no more hitler.

There are no guarantees that those in poverty would be raised out of it. Depending on the circumstances it could just as easily have the effect of simply bringing everyone down to the same level of poverty. In theory Communism is supposed to make everything equal, not necessarily better. History has proven the lie of communism though.
