Welcome to Team AnandTech!

The advantages or disadvantages are really whatever you percieve them to be. There are a bunch of great folks here, and we are happy to have you with us whether you are an individual or part of a team!

Buahaaaa.... (We are the most obnoxious.)

Each mini-team has it's own personality - I recommend you first get to know the members of the various mini-teams, then you can make an informed decision. After a week or two you may decide that you like being solo rather than being on a mini-team.

We are simply glad that you have decided to join this rather crazy, zany, bunch of crackers known as Team Anandtech.

Peace,

RC

Everyone,

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

What initially intrigued me about this forum was the (mostly) good rapport people had and the general respect and concern displayed for one another. People here seem to truly be a family, with all of the disagreements & squabbles evident in any family. But, like any good family, everyone pulls together and never loses sight of the common goal.

Thanks for making me part of the family (group hug inserted here).

Engineer, Paulson, Ray,

Thanks again for the welcome.

Ray,

Wasn't that a pic of some guys lighting a BBQ grill using liquid oxygen??!!
I heard about these guys. Looks cool but certain candidates for the next Darwin Awards!

Ray I don't recall being voted spokesperson for TWTA, I don't mind your post at all.

As for my feigning in instagib, last time I did that, people actualy ignored me, bots kept killing me :)

[Edit] - PS, no they can't win the darwin awards, nobody died.... YET!

KGBMAN,

Mini team or no, the blocks are still going to TA, and that's the most important aspect. But, since you did ask.:)

If you do move in the mini team direction, it boils down to the question of whether you like supporting an underdog, or would rather decimate all that lies in your path! Bwuahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

NOTE: Except today, as The Federation seems to have implemented some unknown new drive technology.:D

The new Trans-Borg Drive system.....We lose more Borg that way;)

Yes, the mini-teams can be fun, but the real challange lies in beating /. for the number 1 overall position and then holding off the Dutch Pork Chops..er..Dutch Power Cows :))) to keep that position. All blocks to TA are greatly welcomed and appreciated....Again, welcome aboard:)

All that Engineer said, plus knowing that you played a part in humbling "The Borg".

Russ is correct, the Federation did decimate all that laid in its path today. We haven't decided if it should be a daily exercise or weekly.

/me looks for his boots.

KGBMAN,

You only get the Beer, Hot tub, and Babes when you get 1.0 Million Blocks (which we did today:D), but JonB is still running Quality Control on that stuff and won't release it:( Maybe you can borrow Ray's Trout and smack it out of JonB:Q
