I want to join a mini team!!! Which one?

I have decided to join a mini-team and would like to know more about them. I tried reading through old messeges and search, but came up with this idea.

Convince Me! Reply to this thread and tell me why I should join a particular team. The most convincing argument/oratation/effort will certainly pursuade me to join.

I am fairly new to RC5 and am enjoying it more than I expected. stats

I also flush through mika's so you can look for me on page 5 if curious.

Let the entreaties begin.

First, a warm and Moooooooooooooooo of a welcome to Team Anandtech....(you have joined, haven't you...:))....:D

As a member of the Federation, I normally don't get into recruiting battles, but this one is different...

I would like to recommend a great mini-team that could use your support (we all could, but this one is different) as they have been a little down on their luck lately....TWTA - Team Within Team Anandtech...

Don't misunderstand me...All the mini-teams here have been great and I enjoy the battles and races very much...The jokes and humor help make the RC5 challange much more enjoyable :). That said, those guys are a great bunch of people...Not just at RC5, but at life in general...

You are welcome to review the 4 or 5 (?) mini-teams that we have here (TA-Cube "The Borg" included since you have less than 30 days of RC5 experience) and most have a common theme and goals...(Ours: Beat the Borg once and awhile.... Kill the RC5Crackheads every chance we get....And the best one: Take TeAm Anandtech to the top spot and KEEP it there! :D)..

TWTA woulkd welcome you with open arms! Thanks for the promo Engineer! Yes, TWTA is a miniteam, that could use your help, and i am working on a new web page page for our members and for those prospective members. I think it is looking cool right now, plus we just assimilated some more [we love ya Ray!]. Xede is the creator of the current page and it is a great starting point for you if you want to see what TWTA is about. Right now we are in a good Race with Kilowatt [creator of Klinux, is that like a linux kleenex or something?]. Regardless of whoever you choose, i am sure you will have fun!

We are all just a bunch of crackers, not any tremendous difference in mini-teams - we all crack for Team Anandtech. I recommend you stay for awhile and get to know each mini-team a little better. Then you can make a more informed decision.

TWTA doesn't have a sci-fi theme like the Borg and Federation, and we don't have a cool name like The Naked Crackers, we are some Team Anandtech members who threw their meager herds together in order to compete with the big dogs. :)

From my viewpoint, it depends on what you like. If you like things easy, join TA Cube, as they are #1 and will remain so for some time. Don't have to work hard to get to the top. However, if you like the underdog, if you like the challenge of competion, of building something, of trying to overtake, then TWTA is the team to join! :D

No matter what mini-team you decide to join, or even if you decide not too, I'm glad you are cracking for Team Anandtech. That way we all have fun! :D
