I want to go get tested for ADD..

I think ADD is a very debilitating syndrome for every person that actually has it. It can lead to many.......

There is no "test" for ADD/ADHD other than maybe a few things you can do in an MRI.
Some folks like the TOVA test, because it "seems"scientific.
In tests it runs 13% fales positive, and 10% false negative for ADD/ADHD compared to interviewing the parents and teachers.
So, the TOVA people have defined an interview as the gold standard.

what are the tests like..?
I sort of think I have ADD. I have lots of trouble reading. Trouble watching TV or movies.. My hands have to be doing something all the time...
Im just trying to fight through it and its working a little bit. I spend alot of time concentrating on concentrating on what I am doing and its working abit, not as much as it should, but a bit..

Yes, I feel the same way while watching porn. That's why I took up knitting. Now when I watch porn, I also knit.
I tried being tested for ADD once... the test was so long and boring that I couldn't concentrate and just got up and left.
ive found that if i have trouble paying attention to something, its not a disorder, but rather that im not interested in it, be it a book, tv, movies, whatever my wife happens to be talking about....but if im interested, and you try interrupting for any reason, i barely notice you; if at all.
can you not pay attention even when its something youre very interested in?
