I know a guy who knows someone local who's supposed to be really good at doing photo work for tattoos. I'll see if he still knows which studio the guy is at.
There's a guy at Nuclear Ink at 72nd and Dodge, Jesse something, he's supposed to be really good and has been featured in at least one magazine. Grin and Barrett does good work, too.

This is something I am actually a little nervous about. I don't want to offend the parlor I go to by asking something like "Do you guys switch the needles?" or some other equivilent question about their practices.

All of the places in Omaha that I've been to open the needles and ink right in front of you. If you happen to find one that doesn't, walk out.
