Good tip, I'll give it a try.

If that doesn't work, just get the same saw you used for your last plumbing adventure and place it next to the dishwasher so it gets a good long look at it. If that doesn't intimidate it into compliance, nothing will :)

This. Germans got their shit right.

German? Made in China like every other appliance these days. Half the US brands are owned by Whirlpool now anyway, and all made in China.

The only US made appliances these days are Frigidaire which are still made in Ohio IIRC.

If you bought a used Maytag from the 80's it would still likely run better and last longer then a new appliance today.

But, you didn't say you've always had problems - from day 1. Thus, there's reason to presume these problems started some time after ownership.

Hmmm... There's a piece of saran wrap or something else that's clogging the filter where the water recirculates. I'm not 100% familiar with your model, so you may need to remove a couple screws to get to it.

You're welcome.

Fuck all those tips. Just unhook it, drag it outside, and shotgun the shit out of it. You'll feel much better.

My motherfucking dishwasher sucks. Not in a good way either. This piece of shit is only like a year and a half old. I've had problems with it since before I can remember. I wash the dishes... AND THEY COME OUT WORSE. They have soap shit ALL OVER THEM. I've tried different detergents, I've tried smaller loads. Ive tried washing and then rinsing after I wash. I've tried praying to god. I've tried mixing some detergent with some other liquid detergent shit. I've tried voodoo. Nothing fucking works. Why the fuck should I have a dishwasher if it doesn't work? It'd just be faster to wash the motherfucking dishes myself What the fuck. I really hope someone here can help me or we are goign to have a fcking christmas murder on our hands. It's me or the dishwasher and I'm bringing a baseball bat. '{

Are you putting your soap and dirty plates in the oven by mistake. I did that once and it gave similar results to what you are experiencing...

+1 on Bosch. Have one that is 3 years. Can barely hear it and it cleans dishes clean as a whistle.

My father worked for the Admiral refrigerator plant in Galesburg, Illinois. He bought their top of the line model right off the factory line in 1987. Still has it and it's running flawlessly.

Admiral was bought and the plants closed. They are just a brand name now stamped on Chinese junk.

I'm not really to sure how to tell how hot it is. There isn't a temp. gauge on the dishwasher itself...

Cooking-Thermometer-23555787705.jpg

measure the temp of the water at the kitchen sink...

Its the cuz these cocksuking liberal hippy freaks have gone too far and got rid of phosphates from dish detergent, that why your motherfuckin dishes are looking like crap.

These are the same assholes who banned DDT.

Do you have hard water? I think that can leave a soap like residue feeling and require 2 rinses to remove.

This, you have hard water. It won't matter what dishwasher you have.

What you are seeing on your dishes is probably not soap, it's the minerals from the hard water. Hard water has lots of minerals and those minerals will start ending up on your dishes, especially glass, eventually etching them. The only solution is installing a water softener system.

As others mentioned, check the drain hose.. make sure it follows the install directions as far as the height and routing of it. and is clear of obstructions and clean.

Make sure the top spinner is still attached. If the top of my dishwasher gets loaded with too tall of crap in the middle it rips off the top spinner as the drawer is put back in.

Run your tap water until its hot before starting the dishwasher.

Mine does better with a rinse agent too. It claims it helps dry... I think it cleans better too.

call the manufacturer.. see if they have any suggestions.
