I want to capture live footage from all my favorite multiplayer games, edit them, and make music videos with the footage.
I need an easy way to capture/record any game i want.
I dont know where to start.
I would like some flexibility so I could capture any game from any publisher.
Any links or hardware/software advice would be helpfull.

Depends on the game. I don't believe there's any way to capture that video output without running it through an 'intercepting' device like a VCR.

"Camtasia Studio" might do this. It's a long shot but worth a try. It's one of those pieces of software that records mouse movements for demonstartions etc. ;)

some guys have done this with and xbox,at redvsblue.com they have a series of videos they are starting im not sure how they do it but they may know if you ask them and i dont think it would be much different to do it with a computer.
If you use a vcr how do u get the video back onto the computer to edit?

FRAPS will do it at the expense of system performance. It works fine for somewhat uncomplicated games, but tends to bog down a lot in heavy action. It you have one he|| of system it might work out.
