I want to disable my Windows network

Modular

I setup a home network several months ago and want to disable it as I'm now using uVNC to do any maintenance/file transfers between the PC's on my network. What is the proper way to go about doing this?

VNC is using the Network to communicate between computers.

If you have Broadband Internet connection it uses the Network as well.

May be what you mean that you do not need File Sharing any more.

In Windows Explorer, Right click on the components that are shared, choose Share, and Stop the Sharing.

I'd probably say your using file sharing as well to transfer files in between PC's. I'd say not broke, don't fix it?

Kevin, UltraVNC has File Transfer Module.

If it used as the sole vehicle to exchange Files you do not need the File Sharing On.

Also a good way to exchange files between Segregated LANs.

I actually didn't know that. I've been using a program called Radmin for things like that and have used VNC's before but I haven't used UltraVNC yet.
