Here is another good one that people used to pull, while I was in the military back in the day...
Alot of us lower ranking guys lived in the barracks..
well.. one guy used to try the "the power went out" excuse..

well damn.. how the fvck did my alarm go off then, if the power went off.. keep in mind, we live in the same barracks, same hallway.. 😕

I would call my mom and bitch her out for not comming over to my house and waking me up if I was late for something I mean its so not my fault I also expect breakfast before I even think about taking a test I mean come on! You should get a lawyer, this is so unfair what they are doing to you dude you have so much more to worry about then if you can wake up on time or how alrms work plus school is so not real life and you know a boss would be forgiving if that happened and would just say its ok dude you know i got your back lets go have a beer so suck it up man and get your mom to write you a nnote an tell that school to shove it and give you your test its not your fault and there is no way you should suffer for your lack of responsibility and inability to take responsibilty for your actions dude
