Hey basically I got my ps3 but the HDMI cable I ordered from the egg wont be here for a few days so I just want to buy one from Best Buy or something and return it.

Anyone know of a good store to do this too? I can't find a specific return policy on cables...
 
Just use the damn cables that come with the system you cheating bastard.
 
So you ponied up the cash for a PS3 but were too cheap to buy the HDMI cable at the same time so you could save a few bucks? 😕
 
Just use composite for now. Then that'll make you realize how much better HDMI really is compared to composite. 😛
 
You should've bought one from Monoprice last week. It would've cost what, 6 bucks - and you'd have it by now. 😀

Actually, I think that he should get one of those $90 Platinum plated "ultra" HDMI cables from Best Buy, and then return it in the most loud and obnoxious way possible when he compares to the $5 HDMI cable he got from Newegg and can't see a bit of difference. Hell... make sure to rant about it on Twitter and Facebook as well!

The more people who learn that Monster cables are a rip off, the better!

this was actually the first thing that came to my mind.

Normally this kind of behavior pisses me off, but when it comes to HDMI/Monster/BB price-gauging, I have absolutely no qualms about the OP being a dick.
 
use composite now, buy $15-20 ps2 (works with ps3 - same connectors) component cables, go to a local computer store and pick up a cheap hdmi cable....whatever you want.

people around here frown on dildos who buy stuff just to use for a few days and take it back to the store. The store can no longer sell it as new.
