And how much do they cost? They seem expensive.

I also kind of want a leather jacket and a bomber jacket. but i know that probably wont happen (those bomber jackets seem like they start at like $600, and id rather have a nice pea coat than a leather jacket).

Kohls in the springtime.

this.

you can check FW and a couple other deal sites and see if you can catch holiday sales/coupons. jackets can be had on specials, but the choice/supply is usually limited and they sell fast.

Join the navy for 4 years, get one for free!!

This.

Of course you could just go the Navy Exchange with someone who has a military ID. They are a couple hundred there. I'd sell you mine, but I couldn't tell you where it went.

Real military's the only way to go. Almost everything else is junk in comparison.

got this guy this past spring for ~$30

They had TONS of pea coats too. Its all about buying off-season

yeah I wanted a columbia jacket last spring but i was brokes when they had the sale :-/

they had some wool coats for $100 and under, too, oh well. winter here doesnt really justify a nice, warm coat more than a few times so what i have is sufficient

its still in the 60s here, normally, during the day.

winter average is 38 - 40 probably, with just a few days below freezing. if we get snow, we almost never get it til february....once, and 4 inches is a lot.

doesnt bother me, fuck the cold!

That's sweater weather :^D

I bought several jackets from Kohls last winter. Not the beststuff, but freat values. I got that Faux jacket linked up at the top for $27 and a Dockers premium pea coat for $28. I also grabbed another barn jacket for $15 and a lined hoodie for $10. They were all on clearance after Xmas. JCPenny has good after Xmas clearance too. If you can hold off until hen, you can get great deals.

When I bought mine I got it at a surplus store, what they call an army surplus store.

I got 3 coat/jackets at Wal-mart last season, great deals. One was actually down. Different WMs have different inventory, it's entirely YMMV in my experience. And what they have one day will be different from next time I'm in the store. I don't live near by them but can hit them in a string at various malls down a local freeway on the way to a destination.
